2. QUALITY ASSURANCE:
A. Responsibility for Inspection. Unless otherwise specified in
contract, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection
requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the
contract, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for
the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless
disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any
of the inspections set forth in the speci.ficati.on where such inspections are
deemed necessary to assure that supplies and services conform to prescribed
requirements.
B. Sampling. Samples shall be selected for inspection in accordance with MIL-STD-105, using the plans described in TABLE I. A lot shall consist of a number of binders manufactured by the same process from the same components at the same time. Random samples shall be drawn from each lot for the end item inspection. Unless otherwise specified, every lot shall be tested.

NOTE : Certificates of compliance are acceptable for the requirements specified in paragraph (1.A.), (1.G.), & (1.J) herein. When certificates of compliance are submitted, the Government reserves the right to determine the validity of the certification.
3. REGULATORY REOUIREMENTS: The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580, as amended, to the maximum extent practicable.
4. PACKAGING. PACKING, AND MARKING: Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
