Each lot of protectors shall be inspected for conformance to the requirements herein. Sampling for inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105 using the plans specified below.
A. Visual and dimensional characteristics – Inspection Level S-3 with an acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 4.0 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one protector.
B. Sampling for Test. A sample shall be taken from each lot in accordance with MIL-STD-105, inspection level S-1 with an AQL of 2.5 percent defective. The sample shall be one protector.
C. Packaging, Packing, and marking – Inspection level S-2 with an AQL of 4.0 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one protector.
4. Preparation fpr delivery.
Packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order.
5. Recovered materials.
The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials in accordance with Public Law 94-580, to the maximum extent practicable.
6. Application for copies of technical documents referenced herein:
The issue date in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall apply.
