6. Notes:
6.1 Source of Documents: The following documents form a part of the commercial item description to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise indicated, the issue in effect on the date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall apply:
6.1.1 Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) may be obtained from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, Washington DC 20402.
6.1.2 Federal Standards and Specifications may be obtained from the General Services Administration Specifications Section (3FBO-W) in Suite 8100 at 470 L�Enfant Plaza, SW Washington DC 20407.
6.2 Ordering information. Purchasers shall select the required options permitted herein, and include the following information in procurement documents:
(1) Title, number, and date of this commercial item description.
(2) Purchaser shall specify the ribbon dimensions and shall indicate length, width, color and inking criteria (if other than specified in the CID), manufacturer�s name and model number of the machine on which the ribbon will be used in the procurement document. Purchaser shall indicate the original manufacturer�s specifications (OEM) if required.
(3) Material Safety data sheets required, in addition to those required by FED-STD-313.
6.3 National Stock Number Listing (NSN�s). the following nsn�s assigned which correspond to this commercial item description. The list may not be indicative of all possible nsn�s associated with the (CID).
