3. Regulatory Requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
4. Quality Assurance Requirements.
4.1 Product Conformance. The product provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description. The quality of the product sold to the government shall be equal to or better than the quality of the product sold by the manufacturer in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
4.2 Testing. Testing shall be in accordance with ASTM D 3715 Section 6 with an AQL of 4 percent defective. The sample unit shall be one roll of tape.
5. Packaging: Preservation, packing, and marking shall be specified in the contract or order.
